To ensure a smooth and stress free journey Libyan Airlines offers you some simple guidelines

Travel Documents

Please ensure that you have all your relevant travel documents with you before you leave your house.

Check-in Time

Libyan Airlines passengers are requested to arrive at the airport at least three hours before departure, please note that the check- in counters will be closed an hour before departure. This allows plenty of time for check-in at the terminal and timely arrival at the appropriate departure gate for boarding.

Baggage check-in

Remember that there are several security checks within the airport; to avoid consequences make sure that you are not carrying prohibited items with you.

Passport

A passport is required to verify the holder’s identity. Security personnel and the immigration authorities at the airport will ask to see your passport at various stages of your journey
Foreign visitors are required to translate their personal details page to Arabic directly onto the passport. Please contact a Libyan consulate or tourist office for the latest official ruling before travelling.

Visa

Travelers may be required to hold an entry visa to enter, or transit a country. Contact your local embassy/consulate of the country to which you intend to travel to obtain information on visa requirements.
All foreign visitors require an entry visa to Libya. For further information contact your nearest Libyan consulate.

Tickets

Electronic Tickets

When booking your Libyan Airlines ticket online please remember to print your eTicket receipt. You must present your receipt with your passport at the airport check-in counter.

Paper Tickets

To purchase a paper Ticket please visit your local Libyan Airlines sales office. Please make sure that your Ticket is booked and valid for your travel according to the specified date and destination.
