DEPARTURE & ARRIVAL

Please ensure that all your documents, and the documents of those traveling with you are in order. Verify the requirements for each country by referring to your local embassy or consulate for all the countries on your itinerary and your country of destination, as additional documents may be required depending on your country of origin.
Passengers are advised to allow plenty of time to travel to the airport, park their car, and proceed to the check in desk. We ask all travelers, and those collecting passengers from the airport, to park safely and not to cause congestion near pedestrian crossings and the airport exists.

Parking

Please make sure that vehicles are parked correctly, safely and displaying a parking ticket; also that they are not parked illegally or in a place that may cause danger to others.

Luggage trolleys

Please ensure that you comply with the airline baggage allowances. Trolleys are available inside the airport building.
Libyan Airlines passengers are requested to arrive at the airport at least three hours before departure. This allows plenty of time for check-in at the terminal and timely arrival at the appropriate departure gate for boarding. Please note that the check- in counters will be closed an hour before departure.

Departure

If you require a special service or assistance please inform our Libyan Airlines staff at the airport they will assist you and provide you with the necessary service.
Once your check-in procedures are completed please proceed to the departure lounge in order to ensure timely boarding. When boarding is announced, please be present at your assigned boarding gate.

Arrivals

Upon arrival, please make sure that you complete your exit card, if necessary, and present your passport to the authorities when needed. After check-in proceed to baggage delivery. Baggage delivery will be attended to shortly after arrival. In case of delay or missing baggage directly inform our representative or agent.

Car rentals, currency exchange, duty free and restaurants are available at the airport upon arrival.
